Poplar Cottage is a 200 year old cottage, full of character features such as beams, sash windows and a wood burner. It is in Calstock, near Tavistock a pretty village on the banks of the river Tamar in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It has a village store, large free car park and two pubs serving excellent food.
Situated on the Devon/Cornwall border, it is an ideal base for exploring both counties. Catch the picturesque Tamar Valley Train from Calstock to Plymouth across the historic viaduct.
